Pilgrimage in Palitana

In the small town of Palitana in Gujarat State, India, lies the Shatrunjaya Temple, at an altitude of about 600m up in the mountains.

This is my account of the pilgrimage, what the climb has meant for me and how I’ve made it personal to me.

2025 has been a year where the universe has really looked after me and my family so to end the year with this pilgrimage marks a significant point in my personal journey.

Palitana is a place that is untouched by mass international tourism. If you’re looking for an adventure in an untouched part of India, I highly recommend Palitana.
